I don,t think there are schools that teach Arabic course for free except for Islamic Centers like Fanar. You may inquire at the reception area in the ground floor at Fanar, Souq Asiri. Non-arabic speaking expatriates are most welcome there. Visit their website at www.fanar.gov.qa
