Yes, I may be a bit worried of this extraordinary situation. the number is big 2.3Million of a nation, 1 in every 100 is not normal. What is missing is the finer details. Perhaps half of them are held because of traffick offences or sexual harrasment or domestic violence or civil felonies. Not all who are held in jails are criminals! I should think so.
So far as i have no reason to consider every american i see as a criminal at all. If i find one even if he is a muslim then he will have my sanctions and ban from enjoying friendship and social favours.
