I don't think there's a specific answer to that. I think people notice the race when it's very obvious to see the difference in color and size of the eyes. I think it's unfair to impose that question on us asians when you don't on the rest of the world. If that is such a big deal then you should also question an american with a mexican, a brit with an arab (a qatari nontheless), danish with a mongolian ~lol
It doesn't bother me seeing a good looking couple regardless of which part of the world they both are from but they have to look good together...I must say I am a bit cynical when I see a not so good looking one, the odd types, but I wouldn't make a big fuzz out of it...ok, maybe just a little bit.
