I live in london now, and I have more than 7years experience working for investment banks and financial companies. I am an arabic and french speaker, single with a university degree in business and a masters in computing.

Grade 7 gets around 26k including benefits and thats with 1 years exerience.
Grade 9 gets around 19k total including benefits with 1-3 months experience.
I know that someone at grade 1 would get a minimum of 80k.
Accommodation is only expensive if you want to live in the upper class areas and depends on location.
You could easily get a 1 bedroom apartment for 5k or a 2 bedroom for around 7k.
When they give you an offer it's usually the total package.
I'd say that you'd enter at around Grade 5 and with your 7 years experience you should get no less than 45k. (But I'm just guessing here and it might be more, might be less)
