Jaffar, I purchased a 2008 July vehicle and went for the technical inspection two weeks ago.

There are 2 phases; technical and legal -

If you clear both, pay your insurance and go to muroor for renewal (both processes take under 15 minutes during off peaks)

If you clear technical and fail legal for minor issues, you can just get them signed off at the police chamber if you can convince the police officer.

Else, you would have to rectify any issues mentioned in the report and go back for inspection.

Reinspection is free for 30 days.
