to stop and render aid here to a wounded person. Back home its against the law NOT to render aid. Just how many lives could be saved with basic knowledge of first aid here! I mean, I'm trained in First Aid, and have on two occasions stopped when there was a major accident and got the victims at least SAFE until the ambulance arrived. One had a crushed lung and a bleeding head injury and the other was in shock and wandering around, not knowing where he was. ITs the matter of minutes that can save a life..and if you can stop the bleeding, you can do just that. What a shame...
