Lived here for 10 years - I know it happens every year - just wondered if anyone could clarify that it was this weekend.
This country does need to move with the times and release announcements etc. As there are continually new people arriving in Qatar all the time and tourists who too look for information, etc etc
It was mearly a clarification of information; not a discussion if one could last without booze for a weekend......
It is a shame as I know there have been lots of events planned and organised for this weekend and they are now cancelled at short notice which is not great PR for the event hosts.
