Greeker your story moved me. Two years ago when I came here I weighed 67kg and I am 173cm tall. My waist size was 28 inches.

As of 12 March I am still 173cm tall but I weighed 77kg. Something needed to be done.

 

My current diet is 4 small meals a day, one is fruit only and the ohers contain carbohydrates but no potatoes or rice. I have also given up potato chips, cookies and chocolate and have cut down on alcohol. I joined the gym at Aspire and go three times a week for one hour. I also run slowly on the Corniche three times a week for one hour at a stretch.

 

This regime is not that easy but it is also not that hard and does not involve any starvation. I am pretty confident that by 12 June if I maintain this diet I will be back to my optimum weight of 67kg. Insh'Allah.
