I got my iphone 16GB from ebay, 2600 QAR including shipping charges.  I got the device after 2 weeks. works like a charm!

they overpriced the iphone here selling 3500 for 16GB and 3000 for 8GB. They are now selling at one cellphone store at City Center. But most of the time, they don't have stock.

If you know someone from the states or will go there, ask to buy a locked one and have it unlock here. it only cost $300-400 in US.
