I have no authority to tell you anything. I've been in your shoes and NOT entered the roundabout if it wasn't clear. You may be able to talk your way around someone at the police station if you get the right person on the right day.

However, I am a white, middleaged western woman. And when confronted by the angry people behind me, I am quite comfortable putting my vehicle in park, taking my phone and taking a picture of their number plate. They stop honking at that point.

Unfortunately, gender and ethnicity play a big part in my comfort level in doing this which may not be the same for you.

However, any rear end damage to your vehicle is their fault. Just try to do the right thing for you, it isn't easy but until more people do the right thing - bullies will continue to get away with their bullying. Good luck
