of a story my dad tells about Ronald Biggs, when he was on the run he spent sometime in Australia, at the time my granfather had several properties that he used to rent out, anyway one was rented out to this lovley english chap who had paid his rent in advance for 3 months, about this time the rumours about Biggs being somewhere in Oz started to circulate, when the three months were up my uncle being the smart A*& he is went to collect the rent for the next three months by approching the guy and saying, "mr Biggs I'm here to collect the rent" needless to say apparently the next day when they went to inspect the property the guy had up and left leaving the rent money in the kitchen. true story or so I am told.
