for applying family visa 05 months bank statement is sufficient, but for family visa need much more formalities, wish you good luck.
regarding u r visit visa for 06 months, you can increase this for one more month by purchasing the air ticket and showing to immigration captain that my flight date is ....... i can not travel before that date, so he will extend your visa for one more month.
and also in your wife pregnancy case , first you take all the test reports of your wife pregnancy, attach thses all with your family visa application and prepare an arabic written application in which mention all the condition and special requst for family RP.
after submitting application to immigration ,just hope for best, but again i m asking now a days family visa required more documents, especially visa title, house rent contract attested from baldia, noc from company etc.

i do not know who are these persons but in visa case they are charging some money and providing their service. one of my friend got his family visa through them. take care before giving them money or any kind of orignal document.
