I agree that the Premier League and La Liga are the only two leagues worth watching. The technical, tactical and entertainment value of the La Liga is probably one of the best in the world. I have't seen much of the Sount American leagues though except for the occasional one or two. Boca Juniors create as much passion and publicity to the Argentinian game as Manchester United do to the Premier League. (No offence intended to fans of other teams!).

Personally, the most boring leagues to watch are the Italian and the leagues in the Middle East. They seem to do everything under the sun (pun intended!) but score. Most results are no more than by a solitary goal. Having said that, the Italians seem to be one of the best technically. Their impeccable results at club and international level is testimony to that. They however don't seem to be able to pull in the crowds , and for me, Italia '90 was THE most boring World Cup. Maradona and a few others (Gullit, van Basten, Caniggia, Rikjaard to name a few) did bring some excitement to the Italian league. But after that it seemed to be all downhill.
