the senseless deaths due to gender is inexcusable in ANY nationality. I know its a very big problem in China as well due to the "one child" per family rule. In the face of the disaster this weekend of the massive earthquake, that one child rule just destroyed thousands of families that had just one child....those that died in schools that collapsed due to the quake. I can't imagine having one child(due to the country's rule) that you dote upon and then have them taken away in one fatal swoop...horrible...
