My suggestion is that you get revised copies of Invoice, Packing List and Certificate of Origin from the shipper and also get a letter confirming that your company name was misspelled inadvertantly. Take somebody who knows Arabic with you to the Custom office and convince them that we will provide the revised Original documents from shipper within 10 days or so and ask them to clear the cargo based on the faxed docs. They may ask for Guarantee Cheque, which you need to provide to the Customs. Based on the Guarantee Cheque, they may release the cargo. Once you have the corrected original docs from shipper you can handover the original docs to Customs and take back your guarantee cheque.
