To answer your question. Yes, I live life pretty much the same way wherever I live. I left my home country (USA) many years ago and have lived in several countries since then.

But you are missing the point, I am not criticizing you at all. What you are doing is fine but it is not the norm here. Trust me, many maids here get a terrible deal. Many are abused and raped and sometimes even murdered. And that, my dear is what I am talking about.
