I think he is talking more about cultural differences than racial differences. So Ethipians score low on IQ tests? Big deal, so what? Its not meaningful because IQ tests are not designed specifically with Ethiopians in mind.

I am sure that a US born and well educated person of Ethiopian heritage would do just as well as anyone else. But there is no doubt, that cultural issues have a big impact on lifestyle, wealth, acadamic success and quality of life.

I don't see how it is racist to say that. But in this pseudo politically correct environment there is always someone ready to jump on you and call you a racist because you say something they don't want to hear.
