Hi guys, am glad to find this thread. Was thinking of going turkey from mid aug till end aug. according to this weather website (http://www.weatherbase.com/weather/weatherall.php3?s=6071&refer=&units=m...), Istanbul seems ok. ave max of 27C with humidity of 80+% in aug. However, some other websites say that it can go really hot till 40C in aug.

What are your experiences in Turkey like? Is it still bearable in aug?

Am thinking of going central turkey (ankara) and aegean region as well.
