Now back to the main point of this thread...being allowed access to information is how the governments (not just the US either) caught some of the people behind terrorists acts. The more information gathered, the more accurate the arrests. Yes, there will be mistakes made by those that send in false accusations for personal gain but those are far and few between. To me its like being checked at the airport...yes its annoying and inconvenient, and I get stopped every single time when going through customs, upon returning to the US, because of where I now live, but you know what, its for the safety of everyone, not just Americans. You do what you have to do to make a safer world. Its gotten to be a joke at the customs counter and so I just laugh it off and crack jokes with the officers.

Grant me the senility to forget the people I never liked,the good fortune to run into the ones I do,and the eyesight to tell the difference.
