I am so sorry for you and for those qataris that are nice people.
It's just sometimes, people generalize with no intention to ofend a population...
one thing we all have to admit, no matter the nationality, a lack of education associated with loads of wealth, tends not to produce respectful results...
All my unpleasant "encounters" have been while driving. There is a tendency here, to certain profiles to be agressive and abusive, when driving...
If Qataris are perceived as rude, wont it be good to debate this in schools and government policies, to see if its worth it to introduce corrective measures into society... likewise is done in some other countries i have lived in before.
To finish, our terrible mistake, is this tendency to generalize as everywhere is possible to encounter all sorts of people... the proportions some times leads to generalization... which might not be fare to the exceptions.
