I still think the most hotel websites offer best rates. As a matter of fact they even guarantee you of best rates and if you're able to find cheaper rates elsewhere, they'd not only match that but give you a day (I think) stay for free at their hotel.
Amari (Watergate in BKK and Coralbeach in PHUKET) property is one good example, they have even listed customer claims on their website and investigation progress.
