Well my dear that is the way we were.. We Indians and Pakistanis.. We say Ramzan instead of Ramadan. We say Namaz instead of Salat and we say Roza instead of Saum.. There are several other things that we speak in a different way.. By the way we did not invent these words.. We took it from the Persian language..
