Been using Aramex for over a year. Mostly for computer hardware and gadgets. I had one unpleasant incident when they lost a bluetooth headset worth $80 from Amazon. Aramex accepted the fact that they screwed up after checking with USPS who confirmed that the package had been delivered to my mailbox. They opened an online ticket and I was contacted by one of their reps. who's last communication to me was -
"Kindly note that the item is in your US mail box and has been shipped to Qatar via ARAMEX tracking # **********; item is now in Dubai and will be arriving to Qatar on Sunday.
I apologize for the late reply. "
This was after many back and forth emails. This package never arrived. The Qatar office had no record of it. I received other packages that were shipped at the same time, but not this one.
I never followed up as I went on vacation, and later I had given away the mobile phone for which this accessory was intended. I just let it slide as I thought the cost of the item wasn't worth following up on it, among other reasons.
After this incident I have used Aramex heaps of times (>USD 4000 worth of stuff). Everything's arrived on time. I think this was an isolated incident and hope I don't have to experience it again.
