yep...sucks big time.

The cancelled my credit card also, without notice...then when hubby called, they said it'd been compromised...okkkk...

Internet banking...have been working since June to transfer money monthy back to the bank in the states. Worked for one month, then in July, someone changed my password..what tha????

Ok so hubby calls..they say he has to go in to do paperwork..he does..account back up and running but, guess what?? Try and transfer money and the amount we can transfer is...tah dah...$0!!!

So, BACK to the bank...more paperwork...hubby leaves for the States..try to transfer...nope...no go again. Hubby returns...does the paperwork again...internet works...again the amount we can transfer is $0!!!

Meanwhile, each month I am having to go to the bank itself, get a clerk to transfer, get told I can do it on line..have to explain that no, I can't due to the inadequacies of their IT department and clerks...But...you are right...they don't even ask for ID to transfer money from your account to another...rather scary...and this is NOT because they recognize me..as it was the first time I had been in this branch!!

Ohh and my new ATM card only works when I am IN Doha..and only if ran UP the card reader...Was in Dubai last May and it wouldn't work at ANY place...

I hate HSBC!!
Grant me the senility to forget the people I never liked,the good fortune to run into the ones I do,and the eyesight to tell the difference.
