india itself is a predominantly hindu nation and the maratha community is a hindu community too.they were the locals in mumbai b4 the migrant influx.it's just like saying the english of england,the irish of ireland or scottish of scotland.....this is maratha/marathi of maharashtra.the word 'hindu' is just added there to spice up things.
