its not a problem if they only speak english, initially the class was meant to be for english speaking students only but since not a lot of people have contacted me I think it will be difficult to make the class exclusively for english speaking children, so if they are interested they are more than welcome.
The teacher will give instructions in arabic but basically the children will just be repeating after the teacher, memmorizing the quran and learning the sounds and shapes of the arabic alphabet. We might be doing a small activity at the end of each class related to the letters being studied. For example if the children are learning the letter Khaa, we might glue cotton balls on a pre printed letter to resemble khaa for kharoof (sheep). Activities such as these will be in english.
