Holding hands if the couple is married is ok, right?
Or not at all? I see Qatari girls holding hands with each other as they skip along.
I agree that people should respect the laws, cultures and norms of the country they are in. Pros - care and protection of the women. Cons - lack of freedom and spontaneity but as BeMyBro said, to each his/her own.
Meaningful's post - "if any muslim girl accepts you the way you are then SHE IS AFTER SOMETHING ELSE NOT LOVE..." & "...we love Islam and when u accept Islam we love you but if you dont accept Islam we love you as human and as a friend not more than that."
I believe that's true to a large extent, if the girl is a staunch Muslim and a true believer. There are many who just follow blindly without making a conscious decision to do so. The same can be said for a staunch Christian or Jew - It is God above all else, without exception.
The rationale for the "rules" is not actually meant to oppress but to protect. Always a trade off involved and what the community is willing to accept. When in Rome, do as the Romans do.
