While I generally agree, if we consider only our own perspective, that would be limited. But in considering other opinions, we also ought not to blindly follow them. At the end of the day, we make a decision on what to do about our particular situation and of course, later own up to it and not blame others for influencing our decisions.

"Why should it matter what they think? As long as you are in the right, show yourself some respect. Never ever allow any one to affect you." - Caution must be had as this is the view of a number of egocentric people, who are so rigid in their views, granite heads, who are not flexible and adaptable, who consider that anyone who disagrees with them are wrong and their view is the only right one and they bulldoze their way around. These people are centred upon their own selves, thinking that the world revolves around them.

Choosing to see only the good about themselves? A fine line between self-confidence and arrogance. Criticisms need to be assessed if they are destructive or constructive.

/Yes, I'm probably off tangent and on a frolic of my own while waiting ... Struck a chord about some of my "granite head" mates. Actually, that was a really good exercise in human nature observation (when not wanting to strangle them).Rant over. :)
