Back in my home country Pakistan, Karachi to be precise.. No one judges you by your appearance or actions and no one says you are not a Muslim if you don't wear hijab or if you don't keep a long beard or if you don't pray five times a day. Majority of women in Pakistan do not wear hijab.. They just wear the traditional Pakistani dress shalwar kameez with a dupataa covering their body.. But here in Qatar.. You get comments like.. "Are you a Muslim? What kind of Muslim woman are you? wear hijaab or what kind of Muslim man are you? grow a beard.. What kind of Muslims are you.. How could you go for movies or listen to music? How could you do this and do that? It is true.. people are more judgemental over here.. Take it from me.. My boss practically forced me to wear hijaab at work.
