I was brought up as a Catholic and I'm a LOT older than most of you on here. I'm old enough to remember the fear of God being put into me by the Priests and Nuns when I was at school.
But you know something else? Even at the age of 7 I had a mind of my own. And I used it. And OK I went along with all the religious gubbins but .... so much was nonsense and didn't make sense.
So I became my own person.
And I firmly believe that, if there IS a GOD, that's what he/she would want me to be.
