I have experienced the same lower quality in service. Either doctors or the staff in the pharmacy.
Once I went to get some advice from a pediatrician for my 10 months old babe for her birth defect (clubfoot) since I was going to start the treatment here in Doha.
Since not on insurance that time, I paid cash too. All I expected was to get some professional advise from a doctor or even a letter and proper direction. To see, all that doctor said me was, "you better go to Hamad hospital where there is horthopedic". Immediately I said I knew it because my neighbour housewife told me the same. And came out.
I complined it to the cheif of staff. The funiest thing is, that one was also a doctor with surely similar qualities who never took my side and said the doctor was too new in Doha.
But I am sure that doctor was quite famous here..name starting with a funny word...lol
