Very much appreciated. All interesting stuff, don't get me wrong, but I really rather like the 'how can one tell one nationality from another'.

I passed a fair skinned Qatari in full thobe and ghutra on the Corniche today. He was with his wife and kids. I said: What beautiful children! (the girls were in party dresses).

He responded in perfect English. Had he not been in his National Dress I doubt I would have known his nationality. It wasn't as if he had a huge, beaked nose or anything like that to give me a clue LOL
