As many of you will know, one of the major reasons the UK pound has plummeted is that the Bank of England have been dropping interest rates like crazy over the last six months in an attempt to stimulate the UK economy.
Its my understanding that the rates are at or very near zero now so the upside (one hopes) is that sterling has reached its lowest point against the US$ and if the lower rates start to pay off and the UK economy starts to improve, we could start to see the pound recover.
