Best Cameras are Canon and Nikon, he told me if you have not yet boaght your camera go for Canon as in his view it is much better than Nikon, he used to have a full set of Nikons and switched to Canon.

Remember when you are buying a SLR, you are entering in a marriage relationship with committments, i.e. lenses, flashes, accessories and these all are investments related to the camera so it is not easy to decide later to change .. so be carefull
