oh good, so the supreme justice must be some floating belief system that not everyone subscribes to or in the same way? Sorry, not buying it. if we're going to have a diversity of belief in the world, we need a governing body that everyone can agree on- god doesn't count.

Advocate, I'm not falling into that with you; way to attempt to hijack. What i THINK gyspy and i are getting at here is that YOUR definatition of logic and fact doesn't line up with EVERYONE's. it in fact CAN be called defamatory. and i can definately disagree with you if I so choose, and i can also choose NOT to engage in debate with you if I decide it'll just lead to hate speech.

however, you do have the right to say it. and as much as i CAN find your views utterly deplorable, i will fight for your right to say it. that's the only way change and development can happen, if people are willing to talk about htings, and see others views. however i firmly believe that too many people see freedom of expression as a carte blanche to be an idiot, who can't be critized back. it doesn't mean we have to agree with you, and it definately doesn't give you the right to be close minded if someone else should disagree with you. Open minds go hand in hand with freedom of expression.

But the point is it is incredibly important that people talk about things, even if their opinions are unpopular. It's the only way things can change, and in fact the worse injustices in the world are purpertrated by and because of silence.

"First they came for the communists, and i didn't speak up because i was not a communist.
then they came for the jews and i did not speak up because i was not a jew.
Then they came for the trade unionists and i did not speak up because i was not a trade unionist.
Then they came for the catholics and I did not speak up because i was a protestant.
then they came for me...and there was no one left to speak up."
