One thing I've never understood (other than that people would rather try to control the world, than build an emotional shield) is the rabid defence of a god (as demonstrated in this thread). Are you telling me that something more powerful than we could ever comprehend needs people, and laws to defend it?

I'm personally of the viewpoint that we shouldn't judge others by the religion they follow, but by their actions as a human being.

AND geographical parameters would not shed away my belief faith and understanding.
