worriedguy, very sorry to here about your experience. we were just talking about truthful friends on another thread. its very hard to trust any one. you were just been a good and helpful friend when he needed you, now this is his pay back to you, hmm!
well i cant say much here cus i didt hear the other side of the story, but the fact and the matter is that if you borrow some one money its their duty to return it on the agreed date or time.
you mention that hes a muslim, we dont want to bring in religious issue now, bt i may say if hes a real muslim he should be aware of paying back the money he borrowed.
its really sad to see how people misuse others trust and kindness.
sorry to say I dont know any other way to help you out, just try talking to him, and remind him when he was in need of your help and you trusted him and you were there for him. may be he will have some quilt and will honestly start paying back your money.
