It's not about ECONOMICS, its about Government Strategy. I think you haven't not read in Newspapers as the Govt is planning to shift/close all groceries/Cafeterias to beautify/organize Doha more.
Sorry I cannot tell you the exact date of publications but they did mention it and i was very much shocked
