I have had two experiences there, and am not likely to have a third.
1. I went to get my eyebrows waxed. They looked absolutely FANTASTIC! The only problem was the wax was so hot, I got a little burn! When I went in the next day to show them, they said "oh". I would go back to the same lady as she did such an awesome job and I would just ask for her to turn the heat down.
2. I went to get my hair trimmed. I had an appointment for when they first opened so there was a bit of running around getting organised. No problem, I'll enjoy my tea. She couldn't find her scissors. And I guess the other hair stylists don't have any, either??? That's okay, I'll sit and wait while I get a nice shoulder and neck massage. The stylist comes up to me and I saw a flash of scissors in her hand. Great! I do what I always do, get immersed in my magazine. She's cutting away for a bit then one of the assistants comes up and says, "I found the scissors." I look up and see a pair of small, silver, sharp hair cutting scissors. I'm confused...what had she been using to cut my hair? I notice a blue handle on the scissors. Two snips later I was done. When I went to pay, I saw the blue handled scissors at the desk. She had used every day scissors in my hair. I was so shocked I didn't say anything. On a side note, why does every salon have a separate charge for shampooing, cutting, blow drying and styling?
