This is my first time to work outside my country and I just want to ask your honest opinion/s on the salary that I received from my employer. I will be joining the company on July 15 and I am having 2nd thoughts of cancelling the offer (though I already signed the Employment Contract). I dnt have any smoking and drinking habits (home type buddy). I have a wife and 2 kids in the Philippines. This is a job grade 14 and my position there will be a QA Engineer. My question is this,
1. Will I survive in Doha, Qatar with this Salary Offer?
2. Will I be able to save money to be able to send money for my family in the Philippines?
3. What would be my expected salary based on my experience?
Basic Monthly Salary: 4,800.00
Housing Allowance: 2,500.00
Transport Allowance: 1,000.00
GSM Allowance: 200.00

Total Monthly Salary: 8,500.00
Experience: Planning Head - 5 years
EHS Practitioner - 5 years
Production Manager - 3 years
QMR - 1 year but more than 5 years of intensive experience in ISO 9001 and TS 16949
