Some things will not change. The constitution clearly states that Sheikhdom remains in the Al-Thani tribe provided that a "suitable" person is appointed Emir or Heir Apparent, not necessarily the eldest son. As is the case now. Shk Tamim is not the Emir's eldest sons.
