[quote:] "the perception of a child from 12 to 17 giving birth and raising a child. Horrible. It is just a very convenient way to keep the female 'in the house', uneducated and is aligned with the lower status of the female opposed to the male within the culture. It is not only immoral and irresponsible, it is outdated and backwards."
It IS outdated indeed..It happened 1400 years back when children didn't have schools to go to and what they needed to learn was very simple and basic.
At the time what we call a teenager (a 17 year-old) lead an army of mature men. Their perception of childhood and adolescence is different..
It's impractical now because children have so much to learn before having to make a family..
