Religion and RTAs( Road Traffic Accidents) are two different animals, sorry to differ... it's a poor analogy. But I do understand what you are trying to project.

Unfortunately you and me live in a society where the rules and principles of the so called "sharp tool - Religion" is bent to the maximum in order to accomplish goals of some megalomaniac individuals or groups which propells unrest in many parts across the glob.

Change in people's attitude or a paradigm shift is a minimum requirement to see a sign of improvment in situation far ahead, rather than posting "religion" up front as a shield for paltry deeds :)
