Scarlet, unfortunately rape goes unreported in too many cases. Whether is be shame, fear, not wanting to bother with a legal system that puts the victim in the spotlight. or because they were drugged and don't quite remember. I know in the US is can be a horrible experience to have to testify against a rapist and have your own behavior called into question with the implication that you were at fault. I worked at a major hospital that was the only hospital in the state that would do the rape kits, and it was ugly. So many victims came through, but at lot of them would refuse to file charges
