Thanks to everybody, but the question was not whether the marriage will work. I didn't ask about love. I asked about the legal (from the Islamic point of view) side of the issue. Would Qatar (or any other Arab state) recognize marriage between let's say Muslim man and Buddhist woman? Between Muslim man and Jewish woman? Can Hinduist and Muslim conduct their marriage in Shariat court?

I would appreciate if some knowledgeable person can share some comprehensible information.
