PM, you mentioned that Arab Muslims don't question or reflect and just memorize. This is untrue, the privilege of being Muslim is because, Islam is the only religion that encourages questions. I am here in front of you an example and I don't blindly follow like a bot, I have had my fair share of demons and the truth is Islam when studied correctly has always appealed to me, winning any debate I had with its synchrony ad logic.
Seriously when many Muslims say "its the perfect religion" it isn't blind love.
Many problems arise when ignorant extremists or careless uninformed Muslims make comments that i have witnessed do more harm than good.
Even moments of doubt are addressed in Islam, so how can you judge if a person apostates forever, maybe it's a phase, maybe they will return stronger than before?
This is debated in Islam but unfortunately main stream media hasn't discussed this yet. I'm hopeful that the kids studying Mass media will bring these issues in Islam into much needed light. They are as I've mentioned often discussed in Arabic.
Unlike when this confused thread author tried to suggest alcohol is debatable in Islam when it is prohibited, there is no grey area when it comes to Um ilkabaer (mother of all sins)...when asked the prophet what is worse, drink, rape or murder, he replied DRINK is the worse sin as it leads to rape and murder.
But you have other issues such as i touched on above. When a person has doubts that beg to be answered this is not kufr (infidel), unlike off course the Suleiman Rushdi type kufur and even sentencing him to death could be argued as I would rather he was debated live on TV for all the world to see, With confidence many names come to mind who would jump at the opportunity to do just that :)
I personally believe that debating him would serve Islam better than a barbaric killing of him, in anycase his sins will be accountable when he faces his maker, so why let him get away with his insignificant defamation when civility offers a better option and dialogue a fool proof window to assassinate his character through sentencing his every sentence and word to a water tight debate with people to view and judge for themselves.
PM you said "I would not participate in murdering an apostate" I reply, Same here.
You said Islam prescribes murdering apostates and you are willing to face consequences on judgment day, I reply SAME HERE.
Why do you think you're so different than I?
PM, it is a sin for any Muslim to adopt an attitude that treats anyone, let alone a Muslim revert as though they are a lower caste, I apologize on their behalf. But I must also inform you that when arguing against Islam and it is seldom seen that you ever explain or advocate Islam, this is when understandably people assume you are not Muslim. As you can see in this thread we are talking to a Qatari Muslim in the same way, so this caste assumption towards reverts is thankfully unfounded.
