Hi.. I'm from Kahramaa... recruited directly from the Philippines w/ no Gulf experience, just this January '09... I've read the thread, too bad for an experienced engr.. but well, in the 1st place why did u accept a jr. level position.. if u really think u deserve an engineering position why settle 4 a jr. one? I've got 18 yrs experience and I was hired as a Sr. level engr.. that's why I've got farrrrr betterrrr offerrrr.. try to negotiate for a sr. level position.. how can u bargain for a better pay if u only have a jr. post? do u think a clerical position no matter how experienced he is will be paid higher than a true-blue engr. with only 3 yrs. experience? think about it....PARE
