I am a muslim woman married to a christian. I will stay muslim forever, my husband neither won't change his religion. Our marriage is recongized and accepted by both countries (his and mine), we never had problems with it, except not being able to make relegious marriage in the church by my husband's traditions, because the priest required me to baptize myself which can't be accepted by me and my husband. I had never heard about problems you are talking here about and never faced one, moreover, such marriages in my country are usual thing. So, it's not up to religion belonging only but to country traditions as well. Maybe this kind of problem is topical in strict muslim countries, but in my home country we are completely free, we are not limited by any rules. That's why we are totally different from other muslims and i suspect that because of this we are not recognized as muslims by those countries. There are a lot of muslim but none-arabic countries which are completely free, liberal and loyal (Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, Kyrghyzstan, Tatarstan, Bashkortostan, and even Turkey) so it's not only about "Islam rule" as it was said before, but also about country rules and its points of views.
