The recent posts have pages and pages of ads, which are irrelevant. Plowing through pages and pages of ads are a waste of time, although we know that some people have all the time in the world to surf but not everyone does.

Suggestion - If people are looking for something that's advertised, they can go to a specific section that is separate from the rest. You can make that section prominent so that newbies won't miss it.
