The entire DPS-MIS fraternity is devastated by the tragic and unfortunate incident costing a precious life in our family yesterday. We empathies with the family of Sarah for the irreparable loss of their beloved daughter. We all mourn with them. All that we say may sound hollow in this hour of calamity but we wish to reassure all of you who have reposed trust and faith in us and entrusted your precious children in our care that we stand committed to providing safety and security to your children at any cost.
The school management has further stream lined and fine- tuned the transportation system.
· No school bus will leave the school campus without a helper.
· After dropping children the buses will be allowed to leave only after physical verification by a supervisor.
· On return journey too, the buses will not leave the school unless the supervisor allows after verification.
· All buses will maintain an attendance sheet.
· For Nursery and Prep, the school will inform the parents by 8 am incase of any absentee, for verification.
·The school reception will remain functional to answer any queries between 2 pm and 5 pm.
·Once again, driver’s mobile numbers will be provided.

Atlast some action from the school on atleast some of the problems. Lets assume this is a good start in the right direction. It is very unfortunate that it cost the life of a little girl for the school to open their eyes. What could have been solved by simply listening to parents' complaints has escalated to this level. Hope the school maintains the same tone in future too whenevr a parent raises some issue of concern.
